Description: LPS Nainital Hosts Amazing Classical Music Concert Date: October 10, 2023 Long View Public School Nainital, along with SPIC MACAY Kumaon Region, hosted a wonderful classical music concert on October 10, 2023. The event featured two incredible musicians - Pt. Dr. Pravin Godkhindi, a famous flute player, and Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra, a tabla expert. The concert was a big occasion attended by important guests including Chairman Dr. Tripathi, Director Sunita Ji, Prof. Gagandeep Hothi (HOD Dept. of Music, DSB Campus KU Nainital), Mr. Alok Sah, Mrs. Geeta Sah, Mrs. Sheela Sah, Mr. Anand Bisht, Mrs. Sarmishtha Bisht, as well as the enthusiastic students and dedicated staff of LPS. The concert, lasting for an hour, was truly captivating. The audience was spellbound by the beautiful tunes from Pt. Dr. Pravin Godkhindi's flute, blending perfectly with the rhythmic beats of Pt. Ram Kumar Mishra on the tabla. This enchanting performance had everyone hooked throughout the morning. A special part of the event was when the students got to interact with these maestros. They had the chance to learn more about Indian classical music and ask questions. The concert not only celebrated our rich musical heritage but also motivated a new generation of music lovers. It was a morning of pure musical delight, leaving a lasting memory for everyone present.
