- The school accepts children from the age of 5 years and above.
- The following documents are to be furnished by the parents / guardians at the time of enrolment.
- Certificate of birth of the child.
- The last progress report of the child.
- Admission will be granted at the sole discretion of the Principal.
- The School reserves the right of refusing admission / readmission without assigning any reason for doing so.
- The School does not entirely go by the progress reports or certificates from previous Schools. In order to assess a child’s ability, the School makes its own assessment. The progress report is, however, required for scrutiny.
- All newly admitted students will be assessed to consider their suitability for the class applied for. If on the basis of the assessment the child is not found fit for the class applied for, then parents will be advised to admit the child in the class suitable to his ability.
- The prospectus and Registration fee is non-refundable and non-adjustable. The payment of the registration fee does not guarantee admission into the School. The admission will depend upon the vacancy in the class applied for, after the successful completion of the admission process and personal interaction with the student and his parents.
- Should a child be found fit for the class in which admission is desired, a provisional offer of vacancy will be made which must be accepted in
writing within 7 days of the offer being made. The acceptance of the offer must be accompanied with the 1st installment (refer to the fee details)
of payment by Bank Draft in favour of Longview Public School, Nainital is payable at Nainital or in cash to be deposited at Nainital Bank, Tallital branch,
Nainital.
The admission will be confirmed only after the receipt of the above payment and of the transfer certificate from the School last attended.
Parents who fail to submit their child’s TC will have to forfeit the admission fee.
For class I, the submission of TC is not mandatory, however copy of the Birth certificate issued by competent authority and original for verification is must.
- A student’s name and Date of Birth, as recorded in the TC or Birth Certificate are official and legal and will not be changed subsequently by the School authorities.
- Parents seeking admission for the child to class I must submit his Birth Certificate.
- The admission of a child will mean a complete acceptance by parents / guardians of all School rules as in force and amended from time to time.
- Should any student, either Day Scholar or Boarder, fail to return to school within 3 days of the official date of opening without certified intimation to and written permission from the Principal, his name will be struck off from the School register, however, school fee rules will be applicable.
- Seeking admission through unfair means or trying to influence the decision of the Management / Principal of the school through other sources will weaken candidate’s prospects of admission.
Class Promotion
It is mandatory for all the existing students to fill the Class promotion form to the next higher class after promotion within 7 days of declaration of result. Failing which their admission in the school will stand cancelled. In case such students wish to continue their education in the school, they will be treated as fresh cases of admission and they will be given admission provided there are vacancies in the class.
The school does not charge any re-admission fee or class promotion fee however this exercise helps new admission seekers to secure a seat in appropriate class
