Details of fee for Boarders and Day scholars will be given by the Accounts Office on a separate sheet.
Fee Rules
- The fee structure given to parents does not include charges for board examination, text books, stationery, extra diet, uniform, shoe repairs, breakage, specially prescribed medicines, tonics and other charges of a similar nature. The actual cost of these, when incurred, will be included in the terminal bills.
All payments for Boarders must be made either in cash or by Demand Draft in favour of Longview Public School, Nainital payable at Nainital. Please note that money orders, Cheque and all other forms of payment sent directly to the Principal will be returned to the sender by Registered Mail A.D. at sender’s expense.
- Day scholars and Boarders are required to pay their annual fee either in one instalment for the entire year at the time of admission or in three instalments, the first payable at the time of the admission, the second by 1st June and the third by 1st October.
- No student will be allowed to return to the School unless his account for the previous year has been settled in full.
- Should a boarder be withdrawn from the School on any date up to and including 30th June, three month’s notice is required, or in default, three month’s boarding fees and three months of tuition fees and other fees shall be charged. On and after 1st July, in the event of withdrawal of a boarder, with or without notice, boarding fees and tuition fees and other fees for the full year will be charged.
- Should a Day Scholar be withdrawn from the School on any date up to and including 30th June, three month’s notice is required or, in default, three months of tuition fees and other fees will be charged. On and after 1st July, in the event of the withdrawal of a Day Scholar, with or without notice, tuition fees and other fees for the full year will be charged.
- If a student is to be withdrawn at the end of an academic session, the school should be informed immediately at the time of submitting the form for promotion to higher class for the coming session as an acceptance by the parents on date given by the school every year failing which the fee rules given above in para 4 & 5 will apply.
Private Account
Every student must have a private account for ongoing expenses. This money is to cover the individual expenses of the students on such items as pocket money, books and stationary, repair of shoes, postage, medicines, laundry, video shows, magazines etc. The private account will not cover the expenses that may be incurred on account of replacement of uniforms / clothing, cost of hospitalization and extra pocket money. No student will be admitted to the School at the opening of the term unless the required amount has been deposited in the private account of the child.
Any sum due on account of any of the above items will be debited, in the first instance, to the private account of the student. Credit facilities will not be provided to any student should his personal account be in debit.
