Description: School Green Drive: On the 23rd of July, a school plantation drive was organized by the Eco Club, bringing together 24 members along with the principal, teachers, and staff. The main objective was to enhance the green cover and promote environmental consciousness among the students. The event took place in Nainital, known for its picturesque landscapes but facing challenges in maintaining its greenery. A total of 62 saplings were planted during the drive. The enthusiastic participation of the students was commendable, as they actively contributed to the planting process. They displayed great interest and dedication in nurturing the saplings, pledging to monitor their growth over time. They unanimously decided to focus on increasing green cover in comparatively low plantation areas of Nainital. The event marked a significant step towards fostering a greener and sustainable future for the region. The school community demonstrated a shared commitment to environmental preservation, setting an inspiring example for others to follow.
