Description:
26 August 2023 Food Grain Donation Drive "Ek Mutthi Anaaj,": In August 2023, the Food Grain Donation Drive, named "Ek Mutthi Anaaj," saw enthusiastic participation from the Interactors of Long View Public School in Nainital. Their dedication to this noble cause went beyond mere contribution; they took it upon themselves to inspire their fellow students and teachers to also embrace this initiative. Their collective efforts culminated in the successful collection of an impressive 200 kilograms of a wide variety of grains, including rice, wheat, pulses, wheat flour, black gram, black beans, and rajma. The Interactors' commitment extended to a well-thought-out distribution plan, where approximately 75 kilograms of the collected grains would be allocated to the Kanak Old Home and the National Association for the Blind in Haldwani. This distribution strategy demonstrated their conscientious approach, catering to the specific needs of diverse segments of the community, including the elderly and visually impaired. Moreover, they planned to distribute the remaining 50 kilograms of grains to local individuals and families in Nainital who were in need.
