Description: Introduction of Interact Club at Long View Public School, Nainital Date: 24th July 2023 On the 24th of July 2023, the Rotary Club Nainital, RI District 3110, took a significant step in promoting community service and leadership among the youth by introducing an Interact Club at Long View Public School, Nainital. The Interact Club aims to provide a platform for students from classes 9 and 10 to actively participate in community service projects, develop leadership skills, and engage in various activities that benefit the school and the wider community. Inauguration Ceremony The inauguration ceremony took place at Long View Public School and was presided over by the current President of the Rotary Club Nainital, Rtn Narinder Lamba. The event was attended by several distinguished members, including Mr. Vikram Suyal, Prof Arun Sharma, and Mr. Sharma, representing the Rotary Club and showing their support for this initiative. During the ceremony, Rtn Narinder Lamba handed out memberships to 30 students from classes 9 and 10, granting them the privilege of being part of the newly formed Interact Club. The students were visibly elated and enthusiastic about their involvement in this exciting endeavor. In the near future, Long View Public School plans to bestow several responsible positions within the Interact Club to foster leadership qualities among its members. The positions include President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, and Directors. These roles will empower the students to take charge of various club activities and community projects, giving them valuable opportunities to hone their organizational and leadership skills. The Interact Club members are expected to organize and participate in a wide range of activities aimed at serving the school and the community. From organizing fundraisers for charitable causes to conducting awareness campaigns and community clean-up drives, the club members will actively contribute to making a positive impact on their surroundings. Additionally, the Interact Club will encourage the participation of other students from Long View Public School in its activities, fostering a sense of unity and collective responsibility towards community welfare. The introduction of the Interact Club has generated immense excitement and enthusiasm among the students of Long View Public School. Many students have expressed their eagerness to contribute to the community actively and embrace leadership roles within the club.
