Description: 30 September 2023: The Society of Private Schools of Nainital (SOPSON) successfully organized the Inter School BrainBlast Multiple Challenge Quiz on September 30, 2023. This thrilling academic competition was hosted at Long View Public School, a proud member of SOPSON. The event saw enthusiastic participation of 69 students from eight member schools. These schools included Birla Vidya Mandir (BVM), Mohan Lal Sah Bala Vidya Mandir (MLSBVM), St. Joseph's College (SJC), Sanwal School, Rama Montessori School and Long View Public School (LPS) from Nainital, as well as Woodbridge School and Lakes International School from Bhimtal. The BrainBlast Multiple Challenge Quiz was divided into three segments, catering to students from various classes. Junior Segment (Classes 3 to 5), Middle Segment (Classes 6 to 8) and Senior Segment (Classes 9 to 12). The participating students displayed remarkable knowledge and a strong competitive spirit throughout the event. The winners of each segment were: Juniors: MLSBVM emerged victorious, Middles: Woodbridge School secured the first position and in Seniors: LPS achieved the top spot. In addition to the winners, the following schools secured notable positions in each segment: Juniors: Sanwal School came in second place, followed by Lakes International School in third place. Middles: LPS secured the second position, followed by St. Joseph's College. Seniors: Sanwal School secured the second position, with BVM securing the third position. The inauguration of the event was graced by the presence of SOPSON's President, Mr. Anil Sharma, and Treasurer, Mr. Tripathi. Their presence added prestige to the occasion. Notable attendees included Mr. Vijay Vig, Mrs. Madhu Vig, and Mrs. Asha Sharma, who represented teachers from the participating schools. The event was attended by students and teachers from Long View Public School.
