Description: Investiture Ceremony 2020 "Leaders instill in their people a hope for success and a belief in themselves. Positive leaders empower people to accomplish their goals." This momentous day of Thursday, 12 March 2020 dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of LPS to lead their school from the front with their confidence, commitment and competence. The school held the ceremony with great fervour and enthusiasm.To inculcate the leadership qualities in students, ‘Student Council’ is formed every year on the school formation day also known as "LPS Day". The event began with address by Mrs. Jaya Sah Co-ordinator Senior School, who highlighted the contribution of student body and school’s convention of delegating responsibility to the newly elected office bearers to spread the light of knowledge and pass on the rich legacy of values of LPS to their juniors. The function was presided over by the Chairman, Prof. H.B. Tripathi. The Chairman, Director, Principal, all the House Moderators and the Block Heads pinned the badges to the prefects and handed over the House flags to them. Mrs. Jaya administered the oath to the newly elected Prefectorial Body. The Chairman and Director Ma'am Mrs Sunita Ji in their address to the students congratulated the newly-appointed prefects and acquainted them of their responsibilities and duties towards their fellow students. The Principal congratulated the newly appointed School Cabinet Members for their preparedness to take up responsibilities entrusted to them and motivated them to do as they say and say what they do.
